Order Your Challah Today!

We’re so excited to kick off this year’s Challah Program with a brand-new vendor: Zuckerbakers Bake Shop, a beloved family-owned bakery in Plainview, Long Island.

 

Fresh, delicious challahs will be delivered to school each Friday starting October 10th. To receive your first delivery, please place your order by Tuesday, October 7th at 3:30pm. Registration will remain open through the end of September—don’t miss out!

 

Available flavors: egg, water (egg-free but made on shared equipment), raisin, chocolate chip and whole wheat. You can also pick a weekly rotation if you can’t chose just one.

Important Notes:

• We do not distribute challah on weeks when there is no school on Friday at the Lower School (Upper School families please note that on 1/16/2025 you will NOT get a delivery as the LS campus is closed to students).

• If your child will be away (for example, on a Shabbaton), it is the parent’s responsibility to let us know which student should bring the challah home. Otherwise, we will donate it.

• To help our volunteers, we are unable to offer alternating/rotation weeks.

• Each challah will come with a roll.

• ​All challah will come in a round shape until October, at which point they will come in the traditional shape.

• All challah orders are final. We are unable to accommodate refunds or cancellations once the initial order has been placed.
